The chicken wire has a mesh width of 25mm (dime mesh or chick wire) and a wire thickness of 1.2mm. The thermally galvanized wire is provided with a green PVC coating and consists of knotted chicken wire. Because the inner wire is thermally galvanized, and there is a PVC coating around this wire, the mesh rusts much less quickly than normal chicken wire.

To attach this mesh, it is best to use staples of 20x2.0 or 25x2.4.
